At ground level

This series, still in progress, is the result of a desire to see the world around me with a different perspective. For the first shot, "The view of the myopic snail" I almost was on the ground. Since then I found a more comfortable way to take my photos!

I work on the depth of field by reducing it almost as much as my lens allow it. The blurred background gives a poetic aspect to the image, which I particularly enjoy.

The camera focuses on the floor in the foreground leads the eye to concentrate on the texture and details that compose it in an unusual way. The street life becomes secondary, almost "decorative".
